Bike Week - in celebration of the 2023 Cycling World Champs!


Recyke-a-bike are hosting a number of free to attend bike events, tailored to allow as many as possible to get involved!

Please see information below!

Monday

· Learn to Ride – King’s Park (main gate entrance near top roundabout off King’s Park/Victoria Place) – 10am until 12pm – young and old, come down and learn how to ride a bike with our skilled instructors!

· Doctor Bike – King’s Park (main gate entrance near top roundabout off King’s Park/Victoria Place) – 2pm until 4pm – pop down with your bike and we will get it fixed/inform you on any bigger issues with the bike that needs further attention (we can do larger repairs in our shop).

· Led Ride – Novice – King’s Park (main gate entrance near top roundabout off King’s Park/Victoria Place) – 2pm until 4pm – join our cycle trainers for an easy led ride in the local area - bookable event, reply to this email/message Recyke-a-bike on Facebook to book.

Tuesday

· Balanceability/Assault Course – King’s Park (main gate entrance near top roundabout off King’s Park/Victoria Place) – 10am until 12pm – bring the kids down and let the little ones loose on our balance bikes whilst the older ones play on our bike assault course (bikes will be provided if you don’t have your own).

· Doctor Bike – King’s Park (main gate entrance near top roundabout off King’s Park/Victoria Place) – 2pm until 4pm – pop down with your bike and we will get it fixed/inform you on any bigger issues with the bike that needs further attention (we can do larger repairs in our shop).

· Bike Maintenance Class - King’s Park (main gate entrance near top roundabout off King’s Park/Victoria Place) – 2pm until 4pm – pop down with your bike to learn some maintenance tips from our bike mechanics

Wednesday

· Balanceability/Assault Course – King’s Park (main gate entrance near top roundabout off King’s Park/Victoria Place) – 10am until 12pm – bring the kids down and let the little ones loose on our balance bikes whilst the older ones play on our bike assault course (bikes will be provided if you don’t have your own).

· Doctor Bike – King’s Park (main gate entrance near top roundabout off King’s Park/Victoria Place) – 2pm until 4pm – pop down with your bike and we will get it fixed/inform you on any bigger issues with the bike that needs further attention (we can do larger repairs in our shop).

· Led Ride – Intermediate – King’s Park (main gate entrance near top roundabout off King’s Park/Victoria Place) – 2pm until 4pm – join our cycle trainers for an intermediate led ride in the local area – not suitable for beginners - bookable event, reply to this email/message Recyke-a-bike on Facebook to book.

Thursday

· Balanceability/Assault Course – King’s Park (main gate entrance near top roundabout off King’s Park/Victoria Place) – 10am until 12pm – bring the kids down and let the little ones loose on our balance bikes whilst the older ones play on our bike assault course (bikes will be provided if you don’t have your own).

· Doctor Bike – King’s Park (main gate entrance near top roundabout off King’s Park/Victoria Place) – 2pm until 4pm – pop down with your bike and we will get it fixed/inform you on any bigger issues with the bike that needs further attention (we can do larger repairs in our shop).

· Led Ride – Families – King’s Park (main gate entrance near top roundabout off King’s Park/Victoria Place) – 2pm until 4pm – join our cycle trainers for a family led ride in the local area – kids should be able to ride independently but we will go at an easy pace bookable event, reply to this email/message Recyke-a-bike on Facebook to book.

· FULLY BOOKED! Mug O’Tea & Spanner – Roadside Assist – Recyke-a-bike shop – 6pm until 9pm – come down to Recyke-a-bike and enjoy a 3 hour class focused on bike maintenance/mechanics – bookable event, reply to this email/message Recyke-a-bike on Facebook to book. Please message us to be added to the wait list.

Friday

A route for self-led rides around Stirling with heritage stops on route (e.g. the Castle and The Wallace Monument) is also available – please send us an email for a digital copy of the route.
