Our wider services

We have a highly skilled, well qualified team allowing us to deliver a range of services across cycling, events, bike mechanics and employability. We deliver services for a variety of partners in Scotland across the public, commercial and third sector and sometimes for private individuals.

Bike Mechanics

We are an approved City&Guilds training and assessment centre offering:

  • 3902-08 Entry level 3 Award in Cycle Mechanics

  • 3902-18 Level 1 Award in Cycle Mechanics

  • 3902-28 Level 2 Certificate in Cycle Mechanics

We also offer non-certificated practical training in the form of Bike Maintenance evening classes and trailside repair courses incorporating cycling and scenario based learning.

Cycle and Driver Training

Our fully qualified cycle trainers can provide:

Events

We get involved in all sorts of events and event support, such as community events, employer engagement and even sporting events. We offer:

  • Fun cycle activities and portable pump track

  • Led rides and led trail rides to suit all abilities

  • Bike Doctor - our mobile mechanics can provide bike safety checks, advice and sometime minor repairs

  • Motorised cycle event support - our van is equipped with a mobile workshop and staffed with qualified bike mechanics. We've supported the Trossachs Ton for a number of years now and smaller events such as workplace sponsored cycles and teambuilds too.

Employability

We work with local authorities, employment services and schools to create bespoke vocational training programmes and we support work experience placements and modern apprenticeships. Our work with Falkirk Council has featured in one of their Employment and Training Unit videos - click to watch.

In addition to vocational qualifications, cycle training and work experience we also work on a variety of general workplace skills to prepare participants for the world of work; and we support them in job seeking, application form, CV and interview skills.

Bike Share and Fleet Servicing

We maintain the Stirling nextbike fleet of hire bicycles as well as the Forth Valley wide e-bike fleet Forthbike. We also provide bulk servicing to customers with fleets of bikes, such as schools, cycle projects and workplaces.

If you would like to know more about our services or have an idea about how we got work together, please get in touch. You can also download our leaflet.
